BMXNZ Officiating Program

The BMX New Zealand (BMXNZ) Officiating Program is dedicated to educating and developing individuals who aspire to become accredited BMXNZ officials in the exhilarating sport of BMX. This comprehensive program offers a structured pathway for participants to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to officiate BMX events at various levels, from local club meets to national competitions.

Through a series of training sessions, workshops, and practical experiences, participants will learn the rules and regulations of BMX racing, effective event management techniques, and the importance of fair play and safety. For ALL Level 1 Officials -

All clubs must have at least 1 level 1 official in thier club who also holds a current first aid certificate,This person once they have passed the test will be able to run club night [eg gates,club racing]and cat 9 & 10 race meets.

As at 6th July 2024, BMXNZ have discontinued the previous questionnaire & register of Level 1 officials. We will be starting from scratch so all clubs/individuals will need to re-register as a level 1 official by completing the new questionnaire.
